Accompanying this is the schematic model that is on the right
side of the page. The model gives you three views, the top
view - looking down onto the bag; the side view and an end view.
As colours are developed into your design these two models
will change colour to show your selections. [We aren't
suggesting this colour scheme for your bag, just showing how
there are two different panels in the end pockets]
5. Top Panel
(with Entry flap)
This is the zippered flap for the top of the bag. It is
part of the top panel when you select a colour. It can not
have a separate colour. Click on the Top Panel
to select a colour for the top of your bag.
6, 12, - Top and Bottom End Panels
There is a choice of colour combinations here. This end
panel which are the sides of the end zippered pockets. It
has two panels to it, a top end panel (shown in
red in the image below) and the bottom end panel
(shown in blue in the image). The panel changes colour at
the start and at the finish of the zipper for the pocket's
opening. To select your colour click on the Top
End Panel and then the Bottom End Panel
tab. This has to be done in two separate stages.
7, 13 Zippers
These come in black and the colour can't be changed in the bag
design system.
8. Team/Club Name
This can be any name you choose including company name,
school, organisation, promotional event and so on. The bag
design system shows a basic label. When you contact 2on1
we can progress this aspect of your 2on1 sports bag design with
you. This will include choosing a font and the artwork.
[See the instructions for this later in the help function]
9. Silver
reflective stripe
2on1 is concerned for the safety of people, particularly young
people at night time. This is a reflective stripe to help
with safety at night. All bags have them. This
colour can not be changed in the bag design system.
10. Side Panel
This is the main body of the 2on1 sports bag. You can
make it any colour you like. Select the Side Panel
tab
2on1 bags are built to be durable. 2on1 uses high
quality material to ensure that with good care your bag will
provide you will dependable service. The black strip is
part of the bag's construction. The colour of this
component can not be changed in the bag design system.
14. End Panel
This is the end of the bag and the panel that your team /
club / school / company / sponsor logo can be placed. This
panel can be any colour you like. Select that End
Panel tab.
15. Logo
This is the location of your logo. Most organisations
already have a logo. We do ask for a logo that has a
minimum resolution of 150 dots per inch (DPI) to ensure your
bag's artwork looks great. The bag design system uses the
2on1 logo to show you where your logo will be placed. This
aspect of the bag is designed with our staff when you decide to
place an order with 2on1. There can be artwork and set-up
issues to develop and finalise. 2on1 can help you design a
logo if you don't have one, but there is an additional fee for
this extra service as there can be significant work involved in
designing the logo. Once that process is completed it is
yours to keep for future use.
Selecting colours
You'll notice there are tabs with the names of the bag parts
on each tab to select each part of the bag you wish to colour.
When you click on a tab it will highlight into an orange colour.
In the image below you'll see that Hand Grip is
selected and highlighted in the orange colour.
This is the main component of the design system. There
are several ways to use this. We have provided a good
selection of the colours frequently used by our customers.
However if there is a colour you really want and it isn't in
the main choice you can select your own. This is done by
using the custom selection panel
This is an easy to use process. There are four steps to
follow in the following image below.
Put your cursor on the colour you want and click (#1).
You will notice at #2 the colour appears in the
previously grey shape. Note
there is a code number (#3) that correlates the
exact details of the colour. In the example the code is
Ox13EAA6. You should make a note of this in case you need
to reenter it at any stage. It is also a good reference
for us when you contact us to place your order. That way
we will know exactly what colour you have been using, just in
case. The next step is then click on ‘Copy Colour'
(#4)
When you click on Copy Colour (#5)
you will notice that a new selection appears - Paste
Colour (#6). This now gives you
an extra choice of colour for any of the bag section tabs you
wish to use.
The following images will show which tab is for which part of
the bag. We used red to highlight the section, but you can
use what colour you like when you design your own 2on1 sports
bag.
This is where your team / school/ club / company /
organisation's name is printed.
The model uses a single line - but the actual product does
accommodate two lines of printing. This design is a guide
to show you how your 2on1 bag will look as far as colour scheme
and layout goes.
The end panels are split in two - though you can just
have the one colour for these panels. The two-tone is
effective, but most clients use a single colour. There is
no difference in price to have two colours in this part of the
bag.
Once you have selected your colours the next
step is to type in your organisation's name. To access
that page just click on the symbol next to the word Next
at the bottom right hand corner of the page.
This part of the model is not case sensitive. The name
will appear as you type it in the box marked #1.
You can select a font from box #2 before you
type. This font choice is not important as we will
progress artwork with you once you have decided on a colour
scheme.
Once you have completed this stage click Next
at the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
The last stage if the bag design requires you
to send us your details. This includes your name and email
address. These panels are easy to fill in. Just
click you cursor over the section that says name (#1).
Type your name in. The (#2) type your
email address. Repeat this in step (#3)
to make sure there are no errors, incorrect email addresses
can't be replied to. Step (#4) type in
any other contact details you think will be helpful for the team
at 2on1 to reach you.
We have included this step by step
guide to help you if you get stuck. If you see any way
these instructions can be improved please contact us - your
feedback is welcome and your ideas can help other people as well
as us.
